Seen The Dreamers (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0309987/)? That one ended with riots from 40 years ago (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/May_1968_in_France)… But in general, I agree: Paris ain't what it used to be ever since those hooligans stormed the Bastille.

It was also interesting how the time-traveling cab in Midnight in Paris sailed right on past 1940-1944. I guess those Nazis would have spoiled Woody's cream puff.
