Hmmmm. Something tells me that they're getting a second season anyway, what with the network giving them 24 HOURS DO TO WHATEVER. But, yeah, they apparently need an arbitrary number of hits at their website (http://www.humangiant.mtv.com) or something.
Also, if you didn't watch a little bit yesterday, Teddy Rockstar was on! Sweet! Also, star of the upcoming "Scharpling vehicle," Will Arnett, was on! And more. And stuff.
I'm not crazy enough to stay up 24 hours and watch it all live, but I may have TiVo'd it all in case something awesome happens. Yeah.
OH, there's also some guy with an ironic handlebar mustache in the studio audience. I can't stop staring at him! He looks like Paul F. Tompkins, kind of, but a Paul F. Tompkins who would be in need of mustache wax and also ironic denim vests with lots of buttons and patches and matching torn up jeans.

Ted's little improv when his guitar dropped out during "Me and Mia" (http://www.mtv.com/overdrive/?id=1559995&vid=149707) was great. At one point yesterday afternoon, Zach G led the audience in a chant of "Gilmore Girls!"
Good call on the mustache guy. He's been there for the duration.

I love it when Zach Galasnuffalufagus yells at his audience. That's the best, folks.

I was up at the MTV studios for about nine hours yesterday watching stuff from the hallway. It was a Ton Of Fun, so many good and funny peoples making their way in and out. If you watch one or two of the hallway remotes, you might see me ducking out of the way. Although there's one where myself and Jason Woliner might be seen - I'm standing behind him. Although I have to admit I was tempted about four hundred times to run into the studio and punch someone - anyone - just to make me super famous.
Tom.

I've been following the ongoing reporting of this humongous event at AST, and am just super annoyed that I haven't been able to follow any of it. I'm hoping it makes its way onto The Interweb in some fashion - as a comedy nerd, I want to see it all.
Cool that you got to hang out, Tom. A call-in from a Newbridge resident would've been even cooler. (Even though it might have left everybody ???.)

I'm casting my vote for the guy with the ironic handlebar mustache.

Fun hallway remote: Jackie Clarke (wearing a neck brace!) informing Rob H. that he could in fact say "penis". She made it really clear that he could say that word -- "penis". Penis. Penis. Penis. Penis. That's a word he could safely say over the MTV airwaves.

The few hours I saw were great. I wish I was at home yesterday day and didn't fall asleep so early yesterday night. I'm hoping for a torrent.
-
I watched a bunch and thought it was great. Like Tom said, a lot of really funny people making appearances. Zach Galifiankis was really great, and I really liked the Tim and Eric Shrek updates. Seeing Bob Odenkirk really made my night.

Haha, this was great. If anyone finds a link or a torrent for this, then post it. I don't have MTV2.

I believe you can find clips of it on the website.

My vote's for Andy Samberg and the dude who was on his back during the cookie delivery.
Sorry if anyone's friends with them, but they reminded me so much of my acting school roommates, I was sort of hoping they'd fall down and sprain something.
A lot of great stuff, though - Ted Leo's improv (Wayne Brady would've been proud), Kristen Schaal, guitar hero and brain surgery on the Times Square Jumbotron, a possibly-inebriated Rob Riggle, Osama Bin Diesel, and more. Fun fun stuff.
I think Fabrice Fabrice (Nick Kroll) stole the show, though.
"I provide the snacks and tiny waa-duz!!!"

That was Jorma Taccone. And I actually am a friend of his - haha. They were ridiculous.

Shit. Sorry, though obviously it was just the "characters" I was responding to.

I don't know how technology works in the modern future of tomorrow, but I hope to heck that the 24 hours emerges as something I can purchase or download, because I only had time for about 15 minutes of it, mostly Lil' 9-11 and the Guitar Hero Showdown on the Times Square Jumbo-Tron.
The whole clubhouse they had set up was some of the most satisfying wish-fullfillment television I'd seen in a long time. I remember saying it was even better than Disney's "Blank Check."

Dude, it was on regular old MTV, too! Both networks!
And yes, Nick Kroll totally stole the show. "Paul Scheer, I'm going to cut your face until you look like Seal." OH SNAPS!

Someone at the TSOYA forum (http://www.maximumfun.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=7694#7694) said that "Demon at Myspleen.com is uploading the entire thing", so look for that. A lot of clips are on the HG websight (http://humangiant.mtv.com/).
Lil George Bush to Lil Osama Bin Laden (not Osama Vin Diesel or Osama Bin Crystal): Let's fwisnish this!
-
Yeah, Demon is upping the whole thing, in 24 one-hour chunks. Hopefully he'll be able to edit out most of the superfluous stuff, I heard HG went through several of their sketches multiple times (unavoidable, I suppose). I'm guessing it will be up by tomorrow or something.
I've been watching all the clips on the HG website - I love it. What a wonderful, crazy thing to undertake. Nick Kroll steals the show.

Did anyone else notice that Nick Kroll played a character who took shots at "Monk" and is now slated to play one of the new Geico Cavemen?
Coincidence? Yes, probably.
-
Don't be dissin Fabrice Fabrice.
-
I'm pro-Nick Kroll! That's on the record.
I was just screwing around; the world needs more comedy-nerd conspiracy theories.

Cavemen is gonna be awesome, and Kroll will eventually get to roll around in piles of syndication cash. Congrats, Nick!

I saw the guy with the mustache at this indie comic festival on saturday. he had a gg allin patch on his denim jacket.
