Hey UK FOTs and FOTs who've visited, recommend things to see. I'm definitely going to London, Brighton, Durham and Edinburgh. What else should I see?
I'm flying into London on March 13th and flying out of Glasgow on March 27th. I'm buying a National Express pass to get on any bus, so I can pretty much go anywhere in England/Scotland. Please suggest some places to visit. Also, if you live in England or Scotland and would like a 26 year old Texan FOT as a house/couch/floor guest for a night, please let me know.

I've been to the UK several times both because my job's main office is in Oxford, and my wife's family lives in Yorkshire. We have a lot of friends in London. (Also, we just made the decision to move there in January 2013!)
I know London and Oxford very well. (Oxford is worth a visit. It's a beautiful little city. And it's only a 40-min train journey from London.)
London is one of my favorite places but it's SUPER confusing. Get a London A to Z guide as soon as you can. You will need it. (The pocket guide costs 5.50 GBP, I think.) Pretty much any newsagent or bookstore will sell them.
In terms of specific recommendations, London is huge. You can't see/do everything. What sort of stuff are you interested in?

I suggest you also get one of the tube map apps for your phone. They are free and very helpful.
