Title: The Beatles: The Next Generation

This would consist of Sean Lennon, Dhani Harrison, James McCartney and Zak Starkey (who is wisely holding out on this travesty, seeing as how he has an actual career playing w/the likes of The Who and Oasis).

Bigger potential trainwreck: this or "Pleasure Island: A Rock Fantasy?"

I kind of like the idea just because they are all very similar musically to their famous fathers and Lennon is a pretty good songwriter. I think it could work.

I am more cynical.  I picture a Julian Lennon solo album as produced by Jeff Lynne.

Hmm, ever since I saw the news for some reason Emitt Rhodes songs keep going through my head.

Don't the Kinks or Pretty Things have any kids?  A 2012 version of those guys would be better than a Beatles Jr.
