my computer will not let me play the archives, thus I can't hear the shows that I know contain the answer to the following question-
What is the name of the movie that Philly Boy Roy wrote the screenplay for?
and did Philly Boy Roy ever land any acting jobs? If so, what is the name of the movie he "appeared" in?
I just need a movie title for my art project. I remembered an episode where a guy calls in and was like, "I'm acting in a movie written by Roy Zeigler." I just can't remember the name of the movie.
and what is the official spelling of Roy's last name? I saw it spelled two different ways on the Best Show website.
and I also hope that the contest will not end for at least another two months. Because my painting needs a bit of time. :)

It had a lot of different titles. One off the top of my head was "Philly Fever" probably "Phever" though. Check out the best show vault (www.bestshowvault.blogspot.com) and look for the philly films post and you'll get four calls about PBR's screenplay.

Bonnie!
You're thinking of Phanatical Daze (2005), featuring Jeffrey Ludell as Tom Scharpling. Also, Ziegler is the correct spelling.
As for PBR's acting career, he auditioned for a role in the last Rocky film, but he didn't get the part. In the audition, he punched meat.
Philly Fever, which was retitled Philly Pride, is an older (circa 2002) PBR screenplay. Check out the FOTpedia page for it:

Do you know why you're unable to hear the archive?
Maybe someone here could help you out with that.
If my computer couldn't play the archive, I'd take an axe to it.
Would you like me to axe your computer?

thanks to everyone for their help!
the reason I can't listen to the archives is because of Real player. My computer has a problem with Real player, which is somewhat irritating. I do sometimes feel like getting a meat cleaver out and smashing the computer. But I think my parents would have a problem with that.
Thanks again!

What kind of computer do you have?

G-StampGirl,
If you are having problems installing / using the RealOne Player (the free player), you might want to try to install "Real Alternative" which was discussed in this topic:
http://www.friendsoftom.com/forum/index.php/topic,858.0.html
If you aren't using Real Player for anything else (Rhapsody, Playlists, etc.) this is great solution. It's extremely lightweight, loads fast, no ads, etc.
Best of luck!
