Title: Want to help out mailing the Scharpling Schwag?

My friends! The Best Show premium from the 2011 Marathon esta finit - and so begins the mailing of it, to something like 2000 people. Let's start tomorrow, mm'kay? Let's do it Wednesday too, and probably even Friday. This week, except no Thursday. Will you join us? I wanna pack the house for this one, bang it out good & quick.

Please let me know if you'd like to schlep our way (Downtown JC-way) and help us get this stuff off the floor and in the air! We'll be at it from 11am til 5pm each day (Tues, Weds & Fri). Looking forward to hearing from lots of you - thanks!

If you're in the NJ/NYC area & have the time free, you should go down to the station-shwag mailings are totally fun and you get to meet all kinds of WFMU goofballs. I gotta go out of town for work, otherwise I'd go myself... Scott's email address is his first name at wfmu dot org...

Plenty more work to be done, so volunteer if you can!

I didn't see any six-year olds today; but I can attest to the nice group of volunteers. They made me feel totally at home and it was my pleasure to work alongside them.

I ordered mine in week 2 and I haven't gotten it yet, so I'm gonna guess that the last of the packages has not been sent out yet.

The station has a Court? Seems extravagant. But, who am I to judge?

Post by: Christina on July 06, 2012, 10:21:15 AM: I just checked in w/Joe McGasko - they're working on the '12 WFMU stuff, but just know that it takes weeks to get it all out. It's all packed by volunteers, and also they try to wait as long as they can for various DJs shwag prizes to get made. So don't worry if you see somebody's instagram showing off their pile o' stuff and you don't have yours yet - it may still be coming! Joe thinks they're gonna be shipping stuff well into July.
