I think I have already worn it out so I am glad for the mp3s. This kicks so much ass and was definitely worth the wait. I have one question. Why no jock-strap? Would that have been more sordid than a fully naked yet clean Pied Piper? I love love love "Plead Me to a Lesser Charge"! I have been roommates with two of the members of the Disappointments (the band he was touring with, from whence the Michigan charges sprung. They are some of the nicest people you could ever meet. Also, Has Merle weighed in on the record (or ever weighed in any of the G.G. fetishisation that goes on on TBS?)

Where are the MP3s? I looked through the package but didn't see them - I don't have a record player. Maybe at my parents' place there's the thing I used to listen to the Hobbit 45s on, but I haven't seen that in awhile.
Turn the page when you hear Tinkerbell make this sound.

There is a sheet in the sleeve for the vinyl with the MP3 download information.

I still can't access it.
Yes I can, you just have to be patient.

Thank you, thank you...I was wondering about that...
ETA: I think I'm going to be listening to this many, many times. I'm surprised people were capable of pulling accessible melodies out of GG... I think my favorites are "Explain Yourself to Kids" (Harpoon Forever) and "Clap Clap Clap" (Fucked Up)... But Ted Leo's dub version of "Assface" (renamed "Nice Face") is hysterical... I mean he even name checks our favorite lean-to dweller...

I can't stop listening to it. "Plead Me To Lesser Charge" cracks me up, especial the lines, "Have your lawyer call mine and work it out... You say I broke the laws in your state, well I looked at the statutes and you're right I did..."
"Nice Face (Dub)" is equally hilarious and at the same time harkens back to post-Chisel/pre-Tyranny... Ted, which is always great. There's never enough Reggae Ted Leo.
"Friends The City" and "New York City Tonight" are the Summer Jams.
Geeg Cast and Julie Klausner's Hated commentary are priceless.
"Say what you will about The Murder Junkies. They were good."

This is fantastic. I haven't heard the Geeg Cast yet, but Nice Face is hilarious and I like the Julie Klausner commentary a lot. The Death Cab and Dump numbers are actually very sweet songs - GG Allin was more soulful than we knew.
