It was pretty funny to have someone disrupt a meeting today with, "does anybody have family in New Port Richey?". Apparently that whole area of Florida is flooded really badly, so in all seriousness I hope you have a rowboat Fredericks!

It is pretty bad. We have more flooding from Tropical Storm Debby than we did from Hurricane Elana. We're on relatively high ground. Many people aren't.
Our lake is really filled up. The water is usually 18 inches below the base of the dock; now it's 12 inches below the top of the railing.

It's nice to know you live by a lake, but I always picture you as camping by the sinkhole.

I do do that frequently.

I wouldn't sleep on the dock for a couple of days.

I have an inflatable mattress.

Glad you're OK, Fredericks.

Thanks, Grote. Mother Nature can sure be humbling. You realize how small and powerless humans are.
Nothing one can do to stop something that big. Ya just gotta "Roll With It".
Now, I'm waiting for the sinkholes to start opening up.

Sinkhole fun!
