Title: Bumbershoot comedy
Post by: not that clay on July 23, 2012, 05:12:39 PM
Is Bumbershoot still terrible for comedy? Last time I went I stood in line for 90 minutes and still didn't get to see who I wanted to see.

That's pretty much the same story I've heard from others who've gone.  The crowds probably aren't getting any smaller.

It's not that bad, really. My girlfriend and I went last year, and we saw everything we wanted to see. There's a tent with passes that assure you a seat. You can get one of those per day, per person, and you only really need them for the big name acts. Maybe the situation has changed, but we only waited more than half an hour for the first show we saw and that was just because we were being cautious.
