Title: Low Times Live in Chicago (1/17/13)
Post by: nowah on January 02, 2013, 10:26:46 PM: Are any Chicago FOTs going to the Low Times live show at the Hideout in a few weeks? Do we want to get together before or after the show? I'm going to try to make it up from Bloomington. I know Taylor from Denver is coming in for it too.

And Sultan's is a mere mile from the Hideout!

Nope. But he'll be appearing the next night at the Delocated show at the Hideout. I'm totally down with the Hideout booking more comedy. I think it's an awesome development.

There's a burger/milkshake/beer joint called Choppers just down the street that the people I'm staying with [got a room via Airbnb] said is really good and reasonably priced. It's just across the highway from The Hideout though you need to go a block or two south to North Avenue to cross the highway. Might be a good place to meet-up at beforehand.

The Sultan's on North Ave is about a half mile west of Chopper's. I'll tweet and post something on Facebook and see if anyone responds. What time would you want to meet up? I'm thinking sometime between 6 and 6:30 would be best. I don't know if 8pm is when doors open or the event starts. I'd rather get there too early than too late.
