That was certainly a treat. I hope you call in more often, Sarah!
My call went okay until I accidentally called Tom "buddy", a shameful breach of etiquette. He may not have noticed nor cared, but it distracted me for the rest of the call.
Listening to the show has brought the word "buddy" back into my vernacular, but I should probably stick to addressing Tom as "Tom","Sir", or barring that, "Hoss".

It was ever so grand getting an extra dose of TBS last night. I'm sure it was something of a pain having to step in to save the day, Mr. Scharpling, but that you had to brightened my Saturday no end. On behalf of Lubec, I thank you.

It's up! And I listened to my call without dying of embarrassment, even though I stuttered dreadfully all through it. Eight whole minutes (yup, I'm pathetic enough to have timed it), and Tom was unfailingly kind to me. Yet more evidence that the Kid is a prince among queens.

I have to disagree. I'm a fairly harsh judge (especially of me) in these situations, but listening to your call I thought you did very well. Congratulations!

Just FYI,
The "mini" Best Show will be included in the podcast feed when it comes back up. Word from the home office says that may be as early as Friday.

id just like to take this moment to thank WFMU for providing the archvies each and every week.
since i've had time to reflect on how much i value the archives, i just wanted to express my appreciation for them & all the work that goes into making them possible.
