Tom, I'm not sure how serious you were on the show last week, but the fast security line at the airport is called TSA PreCheck (http://www.tsa.gov/tsa-precheck/how-participate).
You have to apply for the Global Entry program in order to be eligible for TSA PreCheck. The first step is to go to this website (https://goes-app.cbp.dhs.gov/main/goes), fill out the application and pay $100. You should be preliminarily accepted, which means you will then schedule an in-person interview with a Customs & Border Protection officer at an airport (Newark and JFK both have offices) for final approval. Mine took about 15 minutes. If approved there, you will be given a Known Traveler Number, which you enter in your frequent flyer profile and/or when booking a flight.
