Last night there seemed to be a movement to try to get Shaq to call the show. Later it looked like someone tried to start one getting Paul McCartney to call the show. Obviously either one would be awesome. Who else would be worth trying to get to call? Gene Simmons? Jimmy Page?

My wish list:
Scott Hall
Carmelo Anthony
Scottie Pippen
John Starks (http://www.thuzio.com/john-starks.html (http://www.thuzio.com/john-starks.html))
JR Smith
Matthew Lillard
James Caan

John Paul Jones (He tends to be more coherent and less self-mythologizing than Robert and Jimmy)

Was the attempt to get Shaq to call the show in any relation to his support for the recently re-elected Chris Christie? I've been seeing this campaign ad played ad nauseam in the commercial breaks for Knicks games for the past couple of weeks:
Shaq endorses Republican Chris Christie (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oPAlUf99KLY#)

Is John Wesley Shipp still unaware of the show's existence? I would love to hear a joint Spike-Shipp call before all's said and done.
-
And I get that calling John Wesley Shipp an "FP" is a massive stretch. I just didn't know where else to put that post.

Does he know that AC Newman wrote a song that's (sort of) about him?
-
I have a feeling he somehow hasn't. Someone with a Twitter account should tweet this to him: http://www.wfmu.org/flashplayer.php?version=2&show=49804&archive=86147&starttime=2:49:57. (http://www.wfmu.org/flashplayer.php?version=2&show=49804&archive=86147&starttime=2:49:57.)

I still listen to that song a lot.
"They had the fastest man. And they cancelled him after a season! While they eat up everything that J-Lo does. Where's the reason? JOHN. WESLEY. SHIPP."

I think getting John Wesley Shipp to call one of the last 4 shows is probably a very attainable goal
