I am a huge film buff. I love films. I love the Wurster calls where he mentions very weird or offbeat films. Personally, I love it when he mentions bands and obscure albums, but this thread is about film.
So, I wanted to not compile, but ask fans of The Best Show some of the funny times where Wurster name checks certain films. The more weird, the better.
I was wondering if he ever mentioned The Human Centipede.
I was also wondering if he ever mentioned "Salo or 120 Days of Sodom", "A Serbian Film", "Irreversible", or "Baise-Moi"
I DO know that he mentioned Andy Warhol's "Empire" in a very funny way. His character wanted to "educate" people in the middle of "Kung Fu Panda" so, he decided to play Andy Warhol's "Empire", which is a 485 minute long film that is just a shot of The Empire State Building.

Not sure if it counts as obscure anymore, but in the final episode of the Best Show, Officer Harrups declares himself to be a big fan of The Room. He even has even made "Oh, hi Mark" his ringtone.

YES!
"Oh, hi Mark!"
I would definitely classify that as obscure. While it has a loyal following of lovers (and haters), I do not think that the average person knows about The Room.
Great first contribution to the thread!

There were a string of S&W calls during (I want to say) summer 2012 where Troll 2 came up on a semi-regular basis. I'm going back through the archives right now (and am in early 2001) so without going back and finding the exact spot I will say that I know they're there, around that time.
It was sort of neat to hear S&W mention Troll 2, because I'm a fan of both (though of course the former FAR MORE than the latter). They were also kind of teasing Troll 2 fans, which is fair enough. It's a hunk of garbage that I happen to find highly entertaining, but fully admit that it's a bad movie for real bad movie reasons.

There's this movie called "Clifford." Maybe it's made-up. Never seen it.
