Title: Now That We've Eradicated the Middle Class...

Destination Celebration Anniversaries and Birthdays!  Isn't this symptomatic of the Decline and Fall of the Empire?  http://www.nytimes.com/2007/06/17/travel/17journeys.html?8dpc (http://www.nytimes.com/2007/06/17/travel/17journeys.html?8dpc)

Yeah..  hell with those slobs only able to afford a piece of "tin" for their wife's 40th birthday...  Fox News is right, the NY times is clearly a left leaning, if not socialist newspaper.

And I thought my Noisepop birthday weekend at the Clift (http://www.clifthotel.com/) was extravagant. Jeez Louise.

My co-worker has this one customer, and he does this kind of shit. Like, he and his wife spend $250,000 on clothes and food and just put that stuff on his Black Card when he's in Europe. Prada, Valentino's atelier (no, seriously), Chanel Couture, Dior, all that shit. They do this two to four times a month. I want him to adopt me. When he comes into town, she tells me my Daddy's visiting. He's kind of an ugmo, but one of his seven sons is a bachelor and is not totally hiddy.

I can't decide whether to be disgusted by this or to aspire to it.  I believe the proper answer is both those things.

If I could find a benefactor who'd give me $15,000 a year tax-free, I'd be set.  Laurie, how's about you snag one of those not-too-hiddy sons and then take me on as a charity?

I meant to say that they go to Europe and spend wicked loads of cash on expensive couture two to four times a year, not a month. STILL.
