i was looking for that 1st mention of Tom in GQ (with Reggie Watts) when i stumbled across this image. It says "Feeling the Force by Tom Scharpling. Art By Bruno D. Nadalin."

does anyone know anything about this......
this is the forum the image is hosted on but i don't know anything about it. (FYI there are some pictures of half naked ladies in star wars costumes so it might be NSFW)

That drawing accompanied an article that transcribed a VERY early Best Show call featuring a Star Wars insider who spilled the secrets of Episode 2.
Here's a link to it.

And you'll never guess who the Star Wars Insider was played by!
Tom.

The episode date is Dec. 19, 2000.

this was excellent. thanks, guys!
i still can't guess who the caller is. is it andy milonakis? did tom get in trouble for this? is that why it's not on WFMUs page? it seems that even with it being a joke some certain people might not want it available....
glad to hear hot rockin' ronnie show up at the end, too. i wonder how he's doing these days. is there a "where are they now" section of the board anywhere?

Thanks for the HT, Joshcuradio.
I used to have the Feeling the Force thing as an RM file (or I heard it online somewhere), but I haven't been able to track it down in a long time.
I, ahem, was able to figure out who "C2" is. I've heard that voice before.

I heard this for the first time a few months ago listening thigh the archives, very entertaining. Is it I true that this was one of the most trafficked pages on the WFMU site when it came out, due to all the Star Wars fans trying to listen? I heard the page even crashed at a point.
