I want to throw this question out to you all fellow music obsessives. Whom would you add to the following pantheon of outsiders? Syd Barrett, Skip Spence, Roky Erickson, Dan Treacy, Linda Perhacs, The Shaggs, DR Hooker, William Onyeabor, Craig Smith (Maitreya Kali), Daniel Johnston, Townes Van Zandt, Kenneth Highney, The Frogs, GG Allin, Mike Rep, Jandek, Yamantaka Eye, Arthur Lee, Danny Brown, Scott Walker, Nikki Sudden, Vashti Bunyan, Rick Saucedo (maybe?)... or can someone direct me to a thread where this was already covered?
