Long time listener, never have caller. I think I started listening to Tom before the Best Show was called the Best Show? When it was much more music but occaisionally some weirdo would call in to have long arguments over music minutia and some alternative Fonzy would call in to talk about chain fights. It's been the almost weekly exposure to these kinds of character bending explorations that planted the seed ' what if Danny Devito was the one inspired to wright Rocky" in My brain. It stayed there ticking away like a dirty bomb until I charted the damn thing out, the link is to an abstract of this charting. In one strain of the multi-verse is the Devito Divergence.
