Title: Frightening Kids Beauty Pageant Graphics.
Post by: KickTheBobo on December 14, 2007, 09:38:00 PM
So I stumbled upon this hellish site while looking for an image of a banner on google (like the scroll kind) and in the search results I was assaulted by this:

Of course I needed to find the source of this atrocity, which brought me to Glitz N' Glitter Graphics (http://www.glitznglittergraphics.com/)

holy moly. some of this stuff is just downright frightening. for example: this example of a "banner" (http://www.glitznglittergraphics.com/BannerExamples.html).

What. The. Fuck.

1st one- Not so bad. I mean the whole business is not cool, but whatever.

2nd one- Everyone involved with that flyer should be put in jail. It's blatantly trying to emulate a flyer for a strip club. Absolutely disgusting.

Those eyes have seen a lot of things, but they're never gonna see another thing like they had with you.

Personally, I think this sort of thing is a valuable way for our country's kids to "find themselves."

If by "find themselves" you mean "find themselves a therapist, because they're going to need one."

And Gilly, I wholeheartedly concur with your reaction to the second blinged-up banner. Just reprehensible.

Down in Pulaski, the town my family is from (and from which I spend every waking moment psychically fleeing), they refer to such pageants as "What am I bid" festivals.

Jebus, it looks like the Powerpoint clip-art directory puked.
