Title: Save The Taco Trucks Malarky
Post by: John Junk 2.0 on May 03, 2008, 01:42:10 PM
I think the Taco Trucks will probably be fine, given that the entire planet earth is forwarding this email and signing this petition.

As a guy with a taco truck on his street every day until 3 am, I say, a taco truck is a nice place to visit, but you wouldn't want to live there.

What is a taco truck?
I don't know but I hope it's a truck shaped like a taco.

Hard shell or soft shell?

I did not receive an email requesting my support for taco trucks. So I just wanted to let everyone know that even though I've never been to a taco truck, or had food from one, I still give them my utmost support.

I gotta say, I'm a little disappointed it's not shaped like a taco.  I'll still support it though.

I hate tacos.  I wish all the taco trucks on earth would explode, Batter Butler style.  If any eco-terrorists are reading this, please start working on a plan that entails minimal casualties.

But how can you hate tacos? That concept is completely beyond my comprehension.

I find it intriguing that Chris L. hates tacos.  There's a story there, and I want to hear it.

I had the best breakfast taco in the country in San Antonio. I enjoyed the cab ride more, but how could a taco compare with seeing the grumpy Iraqi cab driver change into the world's best story teller after he finally had his morning cigarette?

Yes!
I had a cranky Montreal-bred co-worker for a while. He wasn't very nice/fun to talk to, but I would engage him in long conversations just to hear him say things like "tackos." Usually not that word specifically, but it did come up.

(The other great thing about that guy was that he taught me more French than I learned in four years of immersion through elementary/middle school. Whenever he stubbed his toe or miscounted change or whatever he would just let out a string of French Canadian swear words, which, as we all know, are way better than English ones. And then if I ever giggled he would roll his eyes and sigh and be like "bien, crisse moi patience, luh." It was awesome. Also I am sorry I keep telling long useless stories in threads that would be perfectly well off without them!)

It's all good, emma!
