Title: LIONS!!
Post by: Laurie on June 13, 2008, 09:53:02 AM: There's a live streaming webcam of a momma lion and her four baby cubs here (http://atvs.vg.no/player/?id=16995). I have seen sooooo much cuteness!!!!!!!!!!

It's apparently a pretty good zoo where the animals have a large, natural territory to roam and stuff. This is just the nursery.

Post by: Laurie on June 14, 2008, 12:55:54 PM: I love it when Mama Lioness grooms her cubs. I can practically hear them say, "STOP IT, MAAAAAAAAAWWWWMMM!!! JEEZ!" Especially when she licks them and they fall over onto their backs, and she continues to groom them and also when they try to stumble away from bath time. LOVE IT!

Edit: OMG! One of the cubs is on its side, and mom is grooming it, and the cub is pushing at mom's nose with its paw!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder how long the camera will be active. I wish it would stay around forever, but those cubs are growing and they'll eventually move them to someplace bigger where they can't be filmed as easily and closely.

Also, don't think I didn't notice your cagey response during Tom's questioning last night: you carefully specified that you'd never had a Filipino manservant. That leaves a lot of other options open, woman.

Not as cute as lion cubs, but endearing little ball of fur. The baby is a little weird looking.

absolutely...the lion speeds up and hugs them and the look on his face makes all my problems go away.
