at 5:39 in this episode http://www.surfthechannel.com/info/television/Mr._Show_with_Bob_and_David/50389/S2E1.html?aid=43220 (http://www.surfthechannel.com/info/television/Mr._Show_with_Bob_and_David/50389/S2E1.html?aid=43220) David Cross says "There's a man in our Wurster store. . . "
or at least that's what I think he's saying. Am I paranoid?
Also, is that a Sarah Silverman cameo?
-
Dunno about the Wurster thing, but Sarah Silverman had a bunch of small roles in the series.
-
Or does he say "Worcester store"?
-
I was about to say, "Or Woostah," but then I remember that it's the same thing as Worcester.
-
Don't know about that particular sketch, but in the Siamese Twins sketch, Paul F. Tompkins (or maybe Tom Kenney) is introduced as "Jon Wurster from Marketing". Definitely not a coincidence.
-
I always thought it was Wooster, like a town in America. Could be wrong though!

There was a quartet of Masshole girls behind me waiting for Dinosaur Jr to play. They got really excited when I said Worcester correctly. One of them was from Woostah!!

I would think that Mascis's feedback would be bad for fetal development.
I know nothing though.

Did you pronounce it "Wisstah?" That would have been next-level.

There's a Wooster in Ohio, but it's pronounced "Wuster," kinda like the way PBR says "water."
