Frank from Weehawken and Mike in Manhattan "smoothed" (scammed) their way onto a morning TV court and can be seen proudly wearing their FOT badges. The show had a bailiff. We're 70% hilarity ensues but who knows what precious jewels fell to the editing room floor.
Today - Thursday - 1pm - channel 11
http://www.streetcourttv.com/ has a commercial
The case - MinM stole cash from his band Family Fun so FfromW could "produce" their first "record." Let me know if it's any good - can't watch TV at the saltmine.
Best,
MinM

awwwwww, missed it. surprising considering the 15 minute advance notice. Let us know when it's online!

I really hope that you can youtube this, put it on Vimeo, whatever. JUST GET IT IN MY BRAIN
Also, this reminds me of a Q and A I did:

That MinM looks pretty slick and that guy yelling, who may or may not be the judge, seemed to call his bluff. I'm thinking he had to pay up.

Finally up!
Street Court TV - starring Frank from Weehawken, Mike from Manhattan, and the rest of Family Fun... It's amazing that this whole idea went this far but I guess Frank will be the first to admit he's no stranger to being corrected by a judge, Mike is no stranger to theft from friends/loved ones, and Paul is no stranger to being a big goddamn baby that looks like a taller version of Mike...

"Why don't you just take an icepick and drive it through my eye?"
Mike's tie makes this video.
What is a "huckelero"? NEVER MIND: I looked this up and it is a word made up by Judge Mazz. Awesome.
Regional alert: It is entirely possible to live in any of the 3/4 of the country that is not the Northeast and never hear the phrase "Again with the..." or even "This guy with the.."
I find it charming, but perhaps that's because nobody ever says it to me.
-
haha, that's great guys.
How much "scamming" did you have to do to get on?
-
Yes! Called it.
-
Wait, are you guys in Family Fun? I actually saw you at Hank's. My little brother plays guitar in a band (I've totally forgotten their name) that played after you guys. I almost bought some hot sauce.
-
Is that Billy Mitchell's hot sauce?
-
I like the 'Leif Landed First' shirt.

Everybody (Paul, Frank, and me) but Frank is in FF. Over time, Frank has become a guest MC/audience plant- a loosely-moraled uncle to the "family."
That's so random you actually saw us. Is your brother in Mt. Olympus by any chance? We've played a few show with them and they're amazing. And that hot sauce? It's actually delicious. Our friend Jimi makes it in his apt and when he does there's this visible mist in the air that's slightly irritating to the eyes and skin. The sensation is not all too different from being maced. Delicious mace.

The video reminded me that Hank's Saloon is a dump.

What it lacks in style, cleanliness, and safety, it makes up for with... um....
-
Yeah, that's what they're called, Mt. Olympus. My brother Rich plays guitar -- he's got long reddish hair. I liked you guys!

No way! That's awesome. He's one heck of a guitar player too! We were all looking at/elbowing each other when he started soloing. Really impressive! Jeez, what a small world. We may be playing with Mt. Olympus again at Dead Herring - not sure about the details. If it happens, I'll bring you an airplane bottle of hot sauce!
-
Yeah, I'm really proud of my little brother. And to think I used to push him around in a stroller!
I'm sure he'll let me know about the gig, but I'll make sure to say hi once I'm there.

Weren't you guys the band that also did the most tasteless GG Allin cover imaginable?

Frickin' great! You all reprazented big time. Judge Mazz's behind the back little laugh at 3:10, priceless.
Where's the Family Fun video. Just checked youtube, but didn't see it.

Here's a few clips from the Hank's show - Soaked is the song that references Clifford and the Middle East (and the song that I mentioned to Martin Short when he called in - man, that was a great show). Hope you like it!

I can't believe I missed this video! Flabbergasting. Frank from Weehawken, you've got the crazy eyes. I'll forever respect you as a Best Show totem figure, but I now can be sure I'd never want to meet you in a knife fight, for separate reasons that go beyond me just not doing knife fights anymore.
In conclusion, I'm disgusted by your flagrant misuse of the American TV justice system. I have contacted my attorney, as obligated by good samaritanship. See you at the Smirnoff Ice grand jury trial.

Sound Proof Booth.
-
the crazy eyes are due to the fact that it was a multiple camera shoot and I didn't know what camera to look at... I swear. As for a knife fight, let your reason be because I keep a gemstar boxcutter blade hidden in my sneakers at ALL TIMES.

If that were true about the boxcutter, I think this episode of It's Sunny in Philadelphia guest starring Ian McShane as The Judge could've had a much swifter conclusion.
But I kid! I honestly think it's awesome that you dudes pulled it off. These judge shows are all so sickeningly sweet, I love em like I love the Mike Show (at a safe arms length). Who hasn't thought about doing this, staying home sick from school one day? Nobody.

PS: This is hilarious, and makes me think we are in a unique position to redefine the word "Huckelero":

Too late. :'(
I looked it up and some guy named "B. Uff Coate" copyrighted it just last week. Looks like Judge Mazz is out of luck, too.

Catch the tomfoolery/tomdrunkery live this Saturday in Brooklyn. Mt. Olympus and Family Fun together?! Watch out 2012, because a certain live event is about to pilfer your box office... and then some!

That's right! See the kick-ass guitar shredding of my little brother. Though I'm not 100% sure if I'm going yet.
