That record store rules. And the actual clerks are very friendly. Oh... the short is awesome as well. Aziz and and Andy Blitz are great.

Here's the clip utilising the new youtube tag -

That store's ok, I mail-ordered some stuff in the late 90s (Star Wars Break Beats) but when I actually got there I was a little disappointed and left empty handed - and believe me, I hit triple figures in cd and vinyl on that two week trip.
I thought the sketch was ok but a little worn.

I like this new Aziz short better I think

I think Aziz has talent, but that "Indie Clerk Assholes" sketch always seemed half-assed to me. I'd expect the average Other Music clerk to care less about Arctic Monkeys and Pitchfork than the average hipster comedian. Don't OM-ers all worship the Wire and, uh, WFMU?

I give it a 7.4.

Shutterbugs is great, too. I heard somewhere that Aziz, Paul Scheer, Rob Huebel, and others are getting a television show. MTV maybe.

Considering whenever I go to free night at the UCB, Todd Barry is insulting random people and then complaining that Aziz is off in L.A. working on a project, I think you are right.
Todd Barry is funny, but when he hosts, all he does is pick one guy and insult him over and over and over. One night, Todd co-hosted with Aziz, and then "out of nowhere" Brian Posehn and Eugene Mirman showed up and it was a fun time. And then at the end, everyone on stage was picking on Todd Barry.

Todd Barry is amazingly short. I mean amazingly, like Little Roger from Hippie Johnny.
