Title: In praise of the Ed Grimley cartoon
Post by: scratchbomb on July 05, 2011, 04:00:28 PM
I tweeted about this earlier today, but thought some non-tweeting folks might enjoy it. I wrote a post at Splitsider about "The Completely Mental Misadventures of Ed Grimley," a Saturday morning cartoon (yes, a cartoon) that went over like a lead balloon with everyone but me. Here 'tis.

Nice article!

My parents were also huge SNL/SCTV fans so this was watched religiously in our house every week.  Unfortunately it was before we had a VCR so i've never seen it past the original airings.  I really wish they would push out a cheapo DVD release like they did with Hey Vern! recently.

My sister had that Ed Grimley halloween costume( and i'm sure my mom still has it packed away somewhere).  The Tiger handheld game is blowing my mind however.
