My name's Dan, been a card-carrying FOT since early 2006, I made a video called DAD DRIVES for a contest and would be really excited to hear what you think.
It's the first episode in a series where a dad drives his grown-up son around.
It features myself (from http://thebitterend.tv (http://thebitterend.tv) and http://saidthegramophone.com (http://saidthegramophone.com)) and Mark Little (from http://picnicface.com (http://picnicface.com) and http://rollertownthemovie.com/ (http://rollertownthemovie.com/)). We're getting scored on views, likes, favourites and comments as they appear on youtube, so if you like it, do us a favour and leave a comment on there! With the prize money, we'll be able to make more!
hope you enjoy: http://youtu.be/xBcMZtGQ5_g (http://youtu.be/xBcMZtGQ5_g)

Done. By the way, Said the Gramophone is the greatest.

hey, thanks Matt!

I liked it, what did you shoot it on?
-
Heh heh, quite amusing.

Dan(ny),
You've got the ability to make web videos that I watch in their entirety. That's rare stuff. I have recommended The Bitter End so many times to so many humans.
At first, I thought it was because you dig my music and I feel as if I should reciprocate somehow, but it has become crystal clear that it's because you're sooper dooper talented and hilarious.
Keep stickin to it.

This is great! And according to his blog (http://saidthegramophone.com/), he won the contest, too. Way to go, Danny.

I guess since hes won he wont be back to give us any detail on how he shot the video. He does only have 15 posts.

That was pretty great.

oh hey, everybody, sorry for the late reply. Thanks so much for your kind words! And yes, we won the contest, so that was fun news.
In terms of technical info, here's how it was done: shot on a Canon 5D, in 3 separate setups, one on the hood, and one on either window (plus the wide establishings). The camera was rigged with a reinforced suction-cup mount, and sound was taken from a single wireless mic above the rearview. There was a bit of mild colour correction, but it was mostly untouched.
thanks again for the support, we'll be making more in the future, so I'll be sure to add to this thread when they're ready
