Where's Wurster?
« on: May 17, 2016, 04:03:17 PM »
I have been wondering where the Wurster calls have been. I realize he is on tour, but I don't remember such a long gap (more than a month I think) between Wurster calls.. Though maybe this has happened in the past? Any other times we've had such a gap? Any ideas why? (Btw- I do not think there is any conspiracy/drama here haha, just wondering).

The people who know and really don't have a reason to lie say it's a tour thing. It's not unusual that a band on tour would be busy from 9-12 every Tuesday.

Plus: I haven't listened to last night's show yet, but there's a suspiciously named caller in there.

I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

Jon did a couple of twitter posts recently about not being able to listen to The Best Show due to his performances.
May 10 - I can't listen to the Best Show tonight because of punk but you should!
May 3 - I'll be sweating it out in Toronto tonight so I can't listen to The Best Show but you sure as f should.

BTW, was that you who called in with a #TomPression or someone else named Colin? Either way, that was one of the better ones.

For a week or two I thought that maybe the guy who called in using the voice modulator could be evolving into a long-form bit via Wurster, only because the guy kept calling every week. And the guy got meaner with each call.

But then remembered that one of the rules of call-ins is no funny voices (especially those making fun of others).

Crankin' out those Mould-y Ouldies should be old hat for Jon. I think he could play Metal Circus backwards while simultaneously laying waste with a 20 minute Hammerhead call at this point in his unparalleled career.
