I was glad to get an update on the Clown Motel saga last night. I drove through Tonopah last December on the way to the Bay Area for Xmas and passed by the motel. Later I checked the reviews online, and it seemed like it was a decent motel, and it sounds like that was Christopher's impression also. I wanted to try to experience the Clown Motel by staying there on my way home, but the day I was leaving to come back a big snowstorm hit the Sierra Nevadas so I had to take a different route home.
I was surprised to also hear the Clown Motel mentioned in a Jimmy Fallon monologue a few months ago. I think he was saying that the owners had put it up for sale. I hope that does not mean that it will change.
