When you're voting on kittenwar, do you take the cat's names into consideration or do you vote solely based off of the cuteness of the cat itself?    I don't think it's necessarily fair for one kitten to win over another because of their name since technically they have no control over there name, but I'd be lying if I said that names hadn't influenced my vote in the past.

I just conducted a scientific trial (three rounds of kitten war), and the names had no bearing on my choices.  The skills of the photographer influence my decision, but not the stupidity of the names the contenders are forced to bear.

P.S.  A few more rounds clinch it.  They also indicate that I have a decided preference for scrawny tiger cats.

P.P.S.  On the site overall, it appears that cats with little or no fur, exaggeratedly narrow faces, and grotesquely large ears are the big losers.  Understandably:  they are quite disturbing looking.
