Great.  Now is the season of our discontent.  And we'll probably have to listen to Philly Boy Roy rub the Mets' demise in our faces. 

Phillies, for chrissakes.

As a Nats fan, let me say that it's been a real pleasure to actually have an impact in late September. I'm not used to it. Please let me revel in it, just a little bit.

The Phillies will have their moment now.  I just don't want to hear about the Mets tanking from any of their fans.  There is more than enough woe to go around among Mets fans.  I guess I didn't realize how wrapped up in the season I had become -- probably not a healthy thing.

im a red sox fan who had his six year old heart broken by the mets in 1986, so im sorry to say i have no sympathy for them. on the bright side, at least you don't have people babbling on about some fake curse every time you lose horribly.
