I'm over the asterisk thing, too.
I still love aspecialthing.  They're the ones putting out the PFT album for crying out loud.
They're also responsible for a lot of Tom's newish fans.(myself included)

The * was fun, but past its comedy prime.  If used strategically and sparingly, I think it could transcend any residual anti-aspecialthing sentiment to become a source for the occasional callback laff.  Like in 6 months, someone will drop the *, and we'll all chuckle and say, "Ah!  Remember that s hit!"

Plus, aspecialthing's books division is going to start releasing bound volumes of the Best Show Recaps in the fall.  (They outbid McSweeney's and Scholastic).

He better drop a Best Show mention.  Maybe he and Conan will talk about the Stereolaffs stuff the whole time, to the point where Conan cancels the other guests.

This is the sort of thing I would think about if I had a radio show.  I hope S&W are more grounded, because if I watched PFT for his 5 minute bit and there was no Best Show reference, I'd say, "that's it for that guy."
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

He did make mention of the "lead pipe and bicycle chain".

PFT needs a shave and a haircut.  For shame.

PFT on Gary's World.

His suit choice on this one? A browned leprechaun; a sun-dried elf.
