I'll have to check out some of his books, sounds fun!

Maybe you'd enjoy some of this chap's stories. Not great literature but great fodder for crime films

I'm very familiar with Higson's TV work* and his Young Bond books. His other stuff is a bit hard to find over here though.

Try out Kiss Her Goodbye first it was put out by Hard Case Crime.

It's been up on sites for a few months, and to be honest the scenes where its just Pegg and Moran are great.
