Robert Pollard...where should I start?
« on: May 17, 2008, 04:35:54 PM »
I am pretty new to Robert Pollard. I tried once to get into GBV about 8 years ago, but failed. I had apparently picked up the one mediocre thing they ever did (according to friends who are into them)..."Do the Collapse."  The only other thing I know by him is "I Am A Scientist" from "Bee Thousand" which is obviously incredible.

So, where do I start? It would be an understatement to say the man is prolific, so what do I do?

One other catch. If it's an album or single I can get through iTunes that would be great because my mom just got me an iTunes gift certificate. I prefer CD's and vinyl , but what can you do?

Thanks in advance,
Jon from Maplewood

"Alright, well, for the sake of this conversation, let's say the book does not exist."
