Look a likes
« on: August 13, 2008, 05:01:01 PM »
I was browsing around through some old blogs on scharplingandwurster.com and saw where Tom had posted some pathetic celebrity look-a-likes. So being that I had nothing to do for a couple hours I decided it would be a laugh to revisit the hilarity of the crap at http://www.lookalikes-usa.com.
This one (http://www.lookalikes-usa.com/list.cfm?NAME=dannydevito) looks like a combo of Danny DeVito and Andy Kaufman to me, but it could just be subconscious because of the taxi he's leaning against.
Post the ones you think are the most pathetic if you are as bored and easily amused as I am.

Edited Foreward: I just realized OP said Tom did this on his blog, with different celebs. I skimmed over that before doing this, so I'm sorry for being derivative without knowing it!

I'd like to start a little game of my own, after looking through that site. Everybody get ready to play the hottest new sensation that's sweeping this thread -

How awkward would it be to hire out one of those dudes for a party or something? What on earth could they do? Like, that "Bill Murray" couldn't look anymore like just some generic guy in his fifties. Is he gonna jump out of your cake going "once again, my life has been saved by the miracle of lasagne"?

I was five for five - I thought the first four were easy because they were mawking like the people they were badly impersonating.

The fifth one was a guess, and it mainly came down to I thought there was no market for a Douglas Adams impersonator.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!
