Julie Klausner on NPR
« on: October 03, 2008, 03:00:03 AM »
Heard Julie Klausner's voice on NPR this evening, along with a number of other comedians, rating the presidential and vice-presidential candidates as comic material. The general consensus is that, politics aside, Sarah Palin is a comedian's dream candidate. If I remember correctly, Julie's comments suggested that Obama's candidacy isn't a target-rich environment for parody or general ribbing, leaving comedians little to work with.

(Great to hear your voice Julie!!)

Hey, thanks!

I got an email today from a pal that said I was so good he "spilled his Red Zinger all over his Mother Jones."

Hey, this is a family message board. Keep it G!

(I'm sorry I missed your appearance - does anyone know if it's archived on the NPR site?)
I'll probably go into the wee hours.
