Worst Band in Heaven (on Earth)
« on: February 19, 2009, 12:35:02 AM »
Tinted Windows are:

Former Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha
Middle Hanson brother Taylor Hanson
Cheap Trick drummer Bun E. Carlos
Fountains of Wayne bassist Adam Schlesinger

I really hope this is a hoax of some kind.

The only Wire I care about is the one that recorded Pink Flag.

This reminds me of another bizarre supergroup -- a few years ago the band Dando Lee Peterson Schwartzman (that's Evan, Ben, Tom and Jason) released an EP on a small Australian Label. That collaboration was mildly amusing to think about; this one is deeply troubling.

It'll be perfect if they all wear sunglasses for the show.  Or if they reveal some new WindowsTM product.

It'll be perfect if they all wear sunglasses for the show.  Or if they reveal some new WindowsTM product.

Also, it would be great if Joaquin Phoenix made a "guest rapper" appearance on their album.

Also, it would be awesome if this band placed their career in the collective hands of the FOT. They could be the first band to be managed by a messageboard.

I'd like to start by suggesting some song titles:

"Billy Corgan can bite me"

"Robin Zander is a tool"

"Stacy's Mom isn't All That"

"Zac's Drumming is Sub-par"

"He didn't sound like a human when I was talking to him ... he sounded like a shape ... what's that shape of that building ... you know, where the Army lives?" -- Bryce, 11/24/2009

haa!  They could all fall off the stage together in a dramatic expression of self-reflexive embarrassment.

I miss Radar so much. I wish they had kept their website as it was after their magazine folded for the third (and final?) time.  :'(
Too soon?
