KFC Double-Down
« on: September 15, 2009, 12:21:37 AM »
Remember when Patton Oswalt was in the studio a few weeks ago and someone from Nebraska called and told him about the KFC Double-Down sandwich? I, too, am from Nebraska and this is an honest-to-gosh food they're testing in these parts. A buddy of mine took one for the team and took video of the attempt to eat it:

He only ate the one bite and this dude eats pretty much anything.

Good Lord.

As disgusting as that appeared to be, I really felt bad for the cat getting in the middle of it.

i wasn't expecting animal testing to be a part of this.
I've got 99 problems but a FOT ain't one.

Really? It was disgusting for sure but I can't imagine puking because of seeing fast food :)

I wonder what the "sauce" is... I hear it's official name is "The Colonel's Sauce". Maybe his mouth really WAS raped!!

No, not literally. That's just something I say when I see something gross. Like when he picked the sandwich up, and there was, like, cheese or sauce oozing out of it and stuck to the wrapper, and it looked like gum someone had stepped in or something, and it was nasty. I did gag a little at that, and I said, "oh my god, no."
Too soon?

You know, a chicken breast butterflied, stuffed with a nice cheese and some bacon, then breaded and fried would taste pretty darn good.

It could taste pretty darn good if it were made by a human being with some sense. But as a product developed and prepared by KFC, or any other fast food outlet? I doubt it.

Oh, of course.  I was just thinking of something to make for supper sometime.

And, Frederixxxxxxxxx, I dispute that.  You're just scarred from that other thread.

There may be an element of truth to that.

And now chickens have raised their ugly heads in yet another location.  Viscous game cocks, no less.

There is no respite.

I never implied otherwise.  Protesting a bit much, methinks.

Is this the right thread to discuss the human-head-sized turkey breast I'll be roasting tonight, stuffed with apples and onions?
