I've no clue if there's been a Seattle FOT meetup before. I'm still a newb

Either way, something's coming up at the Moore Theater Feb 11th: a comedy benefit show to help raise money to fight Leukemia and cancer. Todd Barry's the host. James Mercer of Shins is musical guest. And 4-5(?) other comedians including Neil Hamburger, Eugene Mirman, Tim Heidecker, and 2 others who will kill me for having eluded me are performing this.

Anyway, if anyone Seattle or PacNW based is coming for this, and you have time to go get a beer, pizza, or both somewhere in Belltown beforehand, HOLLER HERE! I swear I'm not nearly as annoying in real life as I am on the Internet.

EDIT: ok found the pic/poster that Todd Barry initially put up. There will be an official poster soon, but here is the text translation:

Quote

A benefit for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

hosted by
TODD BARRY

with
EUGENE MIRMAN
TIM HEIDECKER
TIG NOTARO
NEIL HAMBURGER
NATASHA LEGGERO

THE MOORE THEATRE
Seattle, Washington

Tickets on sale Saturday, January 23 10 AM at tickets.com
$50 for the best hundred seats in the house
$30 for the rest

much better poster coming soon

I'll be getting my ticket(s) on Saturday. Though this is a benefit, it's understood if the ticket price is a bit steep for some of you.  But I encourage you to come out for the pre-show meetup anyway.

W00t!  So I got two tickets for second row in the orchestra pit.

Thing is: my +1 can't go to the show (personal stuff)

Gotta think of a creative way to give away this ticket. I refuse to resell this eTicket or go to Craigslist or eBay or any of that stuff. I want the +1 to be totally psyched to go to this thing, even if they don't care about my existence.

Hmmmm.....

Someone had BETTER take you up on this, because I can't, even though I certainly would be that psyched individual you request. Come on SeaTown, get it together!

Aw thank you Joe.

I just heard that Isaac Brock from Modest Mouse got added to this thing.
I also heard that both Isaac and James will be doing Extreme covers together.

Someone has... but I haven't heard from this person yet regarding meetup plans.  i might have a free ticket on short notice Thursday evening.

That said, I believe there are still tickets for the thing.

I'll also say that even if you don't plan to or can't go to this, I'm happy to meet up somewhere near the Moore Theater (somewhere in Belltown, maybe the Lava Lounge or the Nitelite?) after work, before doors open. I can spot a beer or three for anyone that shows up!

If you're up for happy hour tonight, meet at the Lava Lounge near 2nd and Bell (just north of the Crocodile).  I'll be there from 5:30pm to 7pm. Show up whenever within that range.  The show at the Moore starts at 7:30pm.

Let's do this. Beer's on me.

I can't make it tonight but I'm up for the next Seattle FOT meet up.  I wonder when PFT's coming to town.
