I was listening the other day, Sunday I think, to a certain freeform station in the San Francisco Bay area. They were giving away tickets to a BrokenCYDE show somewhere in the Bay Area. Horror of horrors! The show host pronounced it broken-c-y-d-e. Right or wrong, and probably wrong, it made me think there wasn't any intended irony about it and also that he didn't realize what he was doing, which made me feel a little better. Anyway, the whole thing seemed out of place, like if WFMU were to give away such tickets.
