Directors and small prizes and stuff

Somebody made the mistake of saying they couldn't wait until I finished the C's (from another list; I am developing a list of the greatest directors of the decade, going through the assessments alphabetically.)

It's a lot more work than I anticipated; I just finished the C's. For future letters, anybody want to make a game of it? You can guess my ranks, whoever is closer by some mathematical measure will receive bragging rights and a small gift in the mail (amd no, Emma, I have not forgotten you.)

If anybody's interested, I will give a couple of days notice before posting the D's. In the meantime here's the C's of note.

If you want to play, rank them from 1-10; the person most closely matching the "real" ranking (using sums of differences of ranks as a measure) wins a mix CD full of scary old people music (Bonnie hasn't appeared on the board since she started listening to them.)
