Like any fans of Monk my wife and I had been eager to see the final episode. We had been avid veiwers of the series since season 1 and were sorry to see the series end.
Anyway, we set our Time Warner dvr to record the final episode last night while we worked at the bar as usual. We had not watched the previous week's episode so that we would enjoyvthe two together.
Well, we got through last week's episode which was awesome. Then we try to watch last nights and we find a big 15 minute chunk was missing. Right when Monk starts to watch Trudy's tape and it cuts to Monk in the hospital.
Right away we turn it off and check the listings to see when the next airing is. Not until tomorrow at 10am. It was not available on On Demand yet either.
That really sucked. Now I've got to wait one whole day to find out how the Monk saga ends. I do realize in this age of wars and global warming and the N1 flu, that the problems of a couple of viewers don't amount to a hill of beans, but really. Of all the shows to mess up. Instead we watched Cats 101 which was recorded in it's entirety.
