Same! Especially since I would have to drive to five hours to get there. I might have seriously considered it if he had a date in the Triangle or maybe even Charlotte, but no.

Ted Turner is like one of the bad guys he created for Captain Planet.

The Jimmy James character on News Radio is close, but that character is too smart, and Ted Turner seems more wiley, like George Bush wiley. The character on The Critic was a pretty close approximation, I think.
