Best show DVD
« on: February 02, 2011, 05:40:27 PM »
Tom,

I've moved a few times since the last marathon. I'm not even sure what address i was at when it was going on.

it occurred to me recently that when the dvd goes out i'm afraid it'll end up lost in the mail some where.

what would be the best way to make sure my dvd ends up at my new address short of having mail forwarded from every past address i've lived at in the last year?

I am not Tom, but I feel I can safely say that you should contact Joe McGasko at the station. There's a link to his station email at the bottom left corner here   http://wfmu.org/reachout.html

Yeah, when I called in to Mike and Therese's show to ask about the DVD*, I wasn't expecting the runaround.

* In no way did I do this.  I saw it referenced in another thread.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

i'm in no way trying to bug tom about how soon this thing is going out, seriously take another 6 months if it means it'll be the best it can
be.

i just wanted to make sure it ended up at my new place.

and dave, thanks, i emailed joe and he changed it right away. it was so easy i kinda feel like an idiot for even posting this.

Joe is an incredibly helpful guy, and people who have questions or issues shouldn't be afraid to contact him.

Joe is awesome. When I pledged last year I had forgotten to include some information that would have prevented me from getting my premiums, but would not have kept WFMU from collecting my pledge. Joe actually called me, within 15 minutes of my oversight, and corrected my info. The guy is a WFMU steel trap, in the best sense.
