Ken and Puppet Andy on 7 Second Delay...
« on: June 24, 2010, 01:47:31 AM »
On what was one of the funniest 7 Second Delays in a long time, Andy appears as puppet with real life Ken Friedman. They talk to illustrator Drew Friedman, comic Kristen Schaal, a whistling champion who talks about the golden age of whistling, and marriage counselor helps Andy and his wife Beth.
Although it probably doesn't translate well to radio, the image of the Puppet Andy conducting interviews with the real voice of Andy Breckman offstage was really funny.

Puppet Andy talks to whistling champion Steve Herbst about the "golden age of whistling." The golden age of whistling took place in the 30's 40's and 50's. It was killed by the invention of the transistor radio. Before that people had to rely on whistling to entertain themselves. Who knew?
