The Rubber Gun

It's a Canadian movie made in 1977. I saw it in Boston in 1979 (probably right around this time of year, come to think of it) and loved it.  Even developed a crush on Stephen Lack because of it (imagine my disappointment when I went to see Scanners).  I'd really like to see it again but have never been able to find it.  Anyone have it?  Know where to find it?

P.S. In case this post seems familiar to you, I believe I posted something like it on the old board (never, I think, on this one).  In other words, I'm aware that I'm repeating myself, so don't bother to scold me.

Zip on my one-stop source for obscure movies. Sorry.

Canucks may have better luck, with VHS and so forth.

COME ON, CANUCKS!  Any help?

I'd also dearly love to see Montreal Main, just in case it's in your collection (too).

I will ask about this on another hardcore cinemaniacs forum I'm on, where there's plenty of canucks.

Sorry, Sarah. This is the first I've heard of it, but I'll keep my eyes peeled!

Thanks, Bryan.  And thanks anew to you, Martin.

I don't know why the damn thing is so obscure.  I mean, Allan Moyle directed Empire Records, a movie for which a bunch of people seem to have a soft spot (I don't get its appeal myself).  And Times Square has a certain amount of culty/trash status, doesn't it?  Yet The Rubber Gun has disappeared almost completely.  Hell, it has only two comments on IMDb.

fun fact:  I just learned that the guy who did the music for The Rubber Gun started his scoring career with a movie whose title features my last name.  Quelle coincidence, non?

fun fact 2:  Get a load of this review.

Whoa - you're the famous "Sarah Shades of Love: The Rose Cafe?"
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

At long last, success!  Thanks, Cinemageddon!  (Discovering during one of my sporadic searches for this movie that it was available there is what prompted my recent plea for an invitation.)
