Pool It! Deluxe Edition

Hi, all. Long time/first time. I called into the October 26th show to mention that some folks I know have lobbied Rhino asking them to consider including the Monkees' 1986 reunion album Pool It! in their series of deluxe editions. In case anyone else thought this was an interesting idea, I wanted to share my own hypothetical version of the deluxe Pool It! Not sure how FOT feels about posting MediaFire links, so I'll just post a track listing and you can compile it on your own. The bonus tracks are culled from the Then and Now... comp (Arista, 1986), two 12" singles (both Rhino, 1987), a fan club Christmas single, and a few songs most easily found in a torrent of rarities called Miscellaneous Trax. You can create a poor man's mono mix by cutting and pasting a stereo track into a mono track in a program such as Audacity.

I can't say that I can get behind this endeavor (Pieces and Headquarters are about as deep as I go) but I definitely have to commend you for your Pool It passion.

Interesting, but I can't quite ride for a mono mixdown of stereo music

It's kind of like watching The Holy Mountain in black and white, assuming of course Pool It! is of comparable artistic quality

I enjoyed your call though, especially when you corrected Tom on the year of release
