Best Bowie Biography?
« on: March 06, 2011, 12:40:10 AM »
I'm in the midst of a serious Bowie phase, but there are a lot of books out there on him.  Any recommendations on which Bowie biography is best, where to start?  Y'all seem like you might be the people to ask.

Not really a biography, but I recall this was a pretty good critical overview of all his classic stuff up to Scary Monsters.

I was a young dude when I bought this book. Thirteen years old, maybe.  It still might be in storage amongst a bunch of boxes at my mom's house.

I have read the Berlin one and would recommend it, but it's not a full biography.
