Big ups to Omar for quoting the original Ricky Walters "Ruler's Back". Slick Rick is one of my favorites ever. I'm still waiting for a new album. He's been saying like how he wants it to be more positive and for more mateur audiences. I'm all for that. The ARt of Storytelling was an awesome album. He had a couple of pretty awesome story raps about trying to not cheat on his wife, which I thought was pretty righteous. Of course, he had to "balance" it out with one of the most filthy songs I've ever heard: "Adults Only". Still, this guy's Snoop Dogg's lyrical hero for God's sake. This is the guy responsible for "Treat Her Like A Prostitute" and "Indian Girl" (what month is it?)--dude's gotta pay the rent. "The Ruler's Back" is an awesome song. As is that song where he travels to different battle rap throwdowns in Kit, the car from Knight Rider.
