Already have albums picked out that I will be seeking out:

Flamin' Groovies - Teenage Head
Captain Beefheart - Safe As Milk
Fairport Convention - Liege and Lief
Fleetwood Mac - Anything from the Peter Green era
Joan Armatrading - s/t

Jon, try to find some live Peter Green era Mac. Some of the grimiest, bluesiest stuff you'll hear. Mr. Wonderful is also a good studio pick.

Very excited for the Record Fair though. FOT meetup?

You shouldn't have a problem finding the Joan Armatrading album. Great album and very easy to find. I've been looking for a copy of Liege and Lief for awhile and it's tough to find outside of Discogs/Ebay. Same thing for early Fleetwood Mac, Future Games is about as far back as Fleetwood Mac goes where you can easily find albums. I don't think I've ever seen a Flamin' Groovies album in all my years of crate digging.

Good luck to you! The WFMU record fair sounds awesome.

Yeah...the Joan Armatrading one is a personal thing. My parents had a copy and played it a lot when I was a kid and so I want it for sentimental reasons. Probably not hard to find.

Understandably, most of you who live between DC and Boston have many worries right now because of Frankenstorm. I hope all you guys get through this thing well next week and stay safe, first and foremost.

EDIT 10/27: I've cancelled my trip to NY & WFMU record fair. :-(
I hope the weather improves next week, and you can all point and laugh at me for being scared of the weather reports. Realistically, it's better to be out of the way of this storm, just in case, and not be a burden on my hosts and friends.
