A small wedge of well-made pecan pie topped with a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream is a thing of beauty.

Nonsense:

1 Cup White Corn Syrup
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1/3 Teaspoon Salt
1/3 Cup Melted Butter
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
3 Eggs
2 Cups Roasted Pecans

So I'm reading Going Clear (the scientology expose) and it says that brendan fraser considered himself too young for his role in Crash (as did Paul Haggis). Oldzonareveren (sp) immediately sprung to mind

I chose the obvious answer and that is BOTH.

Seriously, you cannot go wrong with either cake or pie.

Agreed! Add a scoop of ice cream and you are good to go! (And I cast my vote as such in the poll at the top of the thread...)

Although if it were ever to "truly" come down to it, I would have to say I would land squarely in the pie camp...
